When Jesus paid the penalty for our sin, he also removed all guilt produced by that sin. Further, he lives today and speaks continually to God on our behalf.
"But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them."
Hebrews 7:24-25
To receive the salvation, tell others
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
Romans 10:9-10
Salvation means that the new life, promised in the Bible to those who trust Jesus, will be yours. As you read God's Word, you will find what God wants you to have - a life that is pleasing to him and fulfilling for yourself:
"...I come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
John 10:10b
